Weddings

We would love to host you and your whānau on your special day, our couples are married in front of our rustic cabin - 'Te Pounamu' - "the valued treasure".

The wedding ceremony itself takes place in front of Te Pounamu, with the Kaikōura Seaward Ranges (Kaitarau, Uwerau, Manakau, Pūrahonui, and Te Ao Whēkere) as your ceremony, and photography backdrop.

As your whānau sit awaiting the arrival of the beautiful bride, they will turn to watch her exit from her wedding vehicle, with the backdrop then set as Te Moananui-ā-Kiwa (The Pacific Ocean), with the Kaikōura stretch of this coast known as Te Tai o Marokura.

There can also be a few sheep and kunekune pigs thrown in the backdrop for good measure.

Following the wedding ceremony, all guests will then move to the giant tipi's by Element Tipis where your drinks and food will be ready for you just in time to cool you off before dancing the night away.

We understand the importance of your big day, and will go to every effort to ensure it's a day to remember for all of the right reasons.

Bush Adventures

From guided bush tours with beautiful, old mataī and kahikatea trees, to wild animal watching and adrenalin filled hunting expeditions, let us create new experiences with you.

Birthdays & Social Events

If you're looking for a change of scenery for your next birthday or social event, we would love to provide a stunning, and inspiring environment for you and your crew.

Something out of the 'norm' can be quite refreshing, and enables attendees to plan activities outside of the actual function itself.

Why not think about heading out on an awesome peninsula walk, a dive, or surf as a group of mates, or try something different, like hunting or a chopper flight over the mountain range the day after the social function.

So get in touch if this sounds like you, and think about treating yourself for once!

Ocean Expeditions

There's nothing better than being under the ocean and only hearing the ocean; add to that - your own freshly caught kaimoana and life can't get any better - or healthier.
Simply get in touch here for more information or to answer all of your questions.
