Hunting
Whether fruits from the trees or wild animals, we respect the mana (status) of the animal and or food source, and give thanks through mihi (acknowledgement), and karakia (incantation).
It is important that we take for sustenance only and to maintain the biodiversity of our natural environment.
If you would like to experience this for yourself, as a parent and child adventure, or as a couple, we would be more than happy to create some life-long memories with you.
Our native bush block at Ō-Tama-Kura is a place that provides a getaway from everyday life, creates new experiences for people, and provides kai (food) for plenty of whānau also.
We take you into the ngahere (bush) to either watch, photograph, and or hunt wild game, that being goats, deer and pigs. These animals are wild and free from any human intervention, and live a wild and free life.
